UCF’s men’s basketball program added another key piece to its 2020-21 team with the addition of junior college All-American guard Tyem Freeman.
Freeman signed with the Knights after averaging 18.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest as a freshman at Indian Hills Community College in Iowa this past season. He earned National Junior College Association of America first-team All-American honors.
“We’re excited to bring Tyem into the UCF Family,” coach Johnny Dawkins said. “He’s a versatile player and a terrific athlete. He can make a difference at both ends of the floor and can make plays for himself and others.
