HARTFORD, Conn. — UCF linebacker Shaquem Griffin said his phone was frozen after the Knights' 24-16 win at UConn and it had nothing to do with the chilly weather.
"… My phone was pretty much frozen from all the messages," said Griffin, who was featured on ESPN's College GameDay Saturday morning. "I'm pretty excited to see how everything went and see how the video came out. I'm waiting on that and to get back to my phone."
Griffin and his twin brother, Shaquill Griffin, didn't get a chance to watch the story until Saturday evening after the team's noon game against UConn.
