UCF senior linebacker Errol Clarke was eager to lay the wood against Cincinnati's offense last week.
Last season marked the first time the programs competed against each other and Clarke, who once played for the Bearcats in 2012, didn't get a chance to play.
He made up for that missed opportunity, quickly matching a career-high with three sacks for a loss of 23 yards by the beginning of the third quarter Saturday. The Miami native recorded eight tackles, four tackles for a loss of 24 yards, two forced fumbles and two quarterback hurries during the Knights' 24-3 victory over Cincinnati.
