UCF lands another local star in Sanford Seminole WR-TE Gabe Davis

New UCF head football coach Scott Frost hasn't said directly that he's going after local talent to get players to stay home, but the commitment to recruiting Orlando is obvious and it's paying off in a big way for the Knights.

UCF landed it's fifth Orlando-area product since Frost took over last December when Sanford Seminole wide receiver Gabe Davis committed to the Knights on Monday night. Davis (6-foot-3, 215 pounds) will likely end up playing tight end at UCF.

Davis, who had all but committed to Frost and the Knights three weeks ago during UCF's Rise and Conquer 7-on-7 Tournament, becomes the 10th pledge of the Knights' 2107 recruiting class.
