When Cure Bowl executive director Alan Gooch learned UCF would be playing in the Cure Bowl, he knew a lot of work was on the way.
"Be careful what you wish for, you surely will get it," he said. "It's kind of like having your mother-in-law come over to your house, you know, and so we wanted to make sure our house was in order."
That house is a familiar one to UCF, with the Knights playing at Camping World Stadium from 1979 to 2006. The stadium has gone through several iterations since the Knights kicked off their inaugural season at the venue.
