UCF landed its 15th commitment to the 2017 recruiting class today with a pledge from Bradenton Lakewood Ranch offensive tackle Samuel Jackson.
The 6-foot-6, 332-pound Jackson picked the Knights over offers from Kentucky, USF and Miami, and he announced his choice via his Twitter account @SugaLump_78, "I am extremely happy and proud to announce that I have committed to The University Of Central Florida! Go Knights."
He is the third offensive tackle in the Knights' 2017 class, joining Viktor Beach of Fort Myers Bishop Verot (6-5, 295) and Julio Castillo (6-6, 315) of Mayo Lafayette High, and the fourth offensive lineman.
