Gus Malzahn developed a reputation for being one of the best recruiters in college football. It’s something he carried with him during his time at Auburn. Since he arrived at UCF, Malzahn has been able to capitalize on the excitement of his hiring by landing several high-profile transfers to the program.
He joins receivers Jordan Johnson (Notre Dame) and Nate Craig-Myers (Auburn/Colorado State); running backs Isaiah Bowser (Northwestern) and Mark-Antony Richards (Auburn); defensive linemen Big Kat Bryant (Auburn) and Ricky Barber Jr. (Western Kentucky) and linebacker Hirkley Latu (BYU).
“It’s been great for UCF,” said Mike Farrell, national football columnist for Rivals.
