UCF’s seniors delivered some highlights during their final home game of the season before an announced crowd of 35,141, which included former head coach George O’Leary.
The school unveiled a statue, placed in front of Roth Tower, of the retired football coach Friday night at a private event.
But the Knights weren’t able to come up with enough big plays to overcome their flubs during a 35-20 loss to Tulsa Saturday night at Bright House Networks Stadium.
UCF’s defense and special teams unit kept the Knights in contention despite some early penalties and a fumble in the first half.
