The UCF basketball team is looking to slay a giant Sunday when it hosts UConn, a four-time national championship program.
But first, UCF coach Donnie Jones must figure out how to get his players to stop crushing any positive momentum with careless turnovers. The Knights committed 34 turnovers during their past two games, resulting in losses to Tulsa and Memphis.
It's a trend Jones and his players are eager to snap to prevent a three-game losing spell for UCF (10-8 overall, 4-3 American Athletic Conference). After all, they understand sloppy ball-handling and poor decision-making won't cut it against the league's stronger programs like UConn (14-6 overall, 4-3 AAC).
