Amid the ground-breaking, earth-shaking FBI investigation that has rocked the college basketball world and brought down Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino, I asked UCF football coach Scott Frost if a federal investigation would have a similar impact in college football.
His response?
“Yes.”
Frost, one of the most candid and above-board coaches I’ve covered in my three decades as a sportswriter, had this to say on our Open Mike radio show about the FBI shining a light on the dark, dank underbelly of college athletics.
“It’s hard to watch and I’m disappointed college sports has to go through something like this,” Frost said during his weekly Thursday appearance on our show.
