As UCF searched for a new head football coach during the past month, it was obvious what the Knights needed.
He had to be a young, energetic, charismatic, somewhat cocky guy who was going to recruit Central Florida with a vengeance and sell a new brand of UCF football as if he were making a sales pitch of which even Don Draper would be proud.
UCF introduced their man for the job last week and Scott Frost lit up the press conference with an exuberant speech that even had fans wanting to snap on chin straps.
