UCF's basketball season ended Wednesday night and soon the tenure of basketball coach Donnie Jones will likely be over, too.
Maybe it'll happen today. Or tomorrow. Or maybe Monday.
"I haven't been told anything [about being fired,]" Jones said during the long, losing walk out of the Amway Arena after the Knights were upset 65-63 by Tulane in the first round of the American Athletic Conference Tournament. "Will they tell me later? I hope not, but I understand the business."
Although nobody is saying it publicly, everybody associated with UCF seemed to know the conference tournament was Jones' final stand.
