The bleeding just won't stop for the UCF basketball team, which suffered an 88-61 blowout loss to Houston Wednesday night.
It was the Knights' sixth consecutive loss.
After struggling with lethargic starts all season, UCF opened with one of its better first half-performances since dismantling East Carolina 89-69 Jan. 16.
Rookie guard Chance McSpadden helped spark some early energy for the Knights in his second consecutive start.
But after six early ties and five lead changes, Houston pulled away on a 16-3 run — featuring a few high-flying Devonta Pollard dunks — five minutes before halftime.
