UCF used a mix of strong shooting and punishing defense to notch a comfortable win over the Knights’ biggest rival.
C.J. Walker had 18 points, nine rebounds and four blocks as UCF beat USF 81-65 on Wednesday night at Addition Financial Arena.
Darius Perry and Darin Green Jr. each had 14 points for the Knights (7-11, 5-10 American Athletic Conference). Isaiah Adams added 11 points.
“Our guys came really prepared and ready to compete. We dug in, got a few extra stops and built a lead and that was exciting to see,” UCF coach Johnny Dawkins said.
