Storm Johnson appeared in six games for the Jacksonville Jaguars after he was selected in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
The former UCF running back has not played in the league since then. Now he will get a chance to rejuvenate his career at his former college home.
Johnson, 26, is one of four former UCF players who have been among the recent players assigned to Orlando’s franchise in the Alliance of American Football.
Besides Johnson, linebacker Chequan Burkett, defensive tackle Tony Guerad and offensive tackle Chris Martin are the other Knights allotted to Orlando.
