The University of Central Florida Knights just completed a miserable 0-12 season, and Oregon Ducks offensive coordinator Scott Frost has reportedly been tabbed to turn things around.
Brandon Helwig of UCFSports.com first reported, the Knights are prepared to name Frost as their next head coach, while Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports confirmed the news.
The 40-year-old Frost has been part of Oregon's coaching staff since 2009, and he has spent the past three seasons as the Ducks offensive coordinator under Mark Helfrich.
He was in charge of the offense during quarterback Marcus Mariota's Heisman Trophy-winning campaign last season, and he figures to bring a fresh, new and exciting perspective to a program that is working its way through a great deal of turmoil.
