Injured UCF QB McKenzie Milton will not play against USF

Injured UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton is not expected to play Friday against rival USF, a source close to the situation told the Orlando Sentinel.

Milton has spent the past two years working to return from a devastating knee injury he suffered against the Bulls on Nov. 23, 2018. After numerous surgeries and setbacks, Milton was cleared to play earlier this year and has been running the Knights’ scout team.

Speculation over a possible return by Milton this week escalated when current UCF quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who is friends with Milton, was asked about a possible return.
