New UCF coach Gus Malzahn added the final piece to his Knights coaching staff, announcing the hire of Kenny Ingram as a defensive assistant Wednesday afternoon.
Ingram previously worked under Malzahn while at Arkansas State in 2012 and at Auburn as the director of player development in 2013-14 and director of player relations in 2017-18. He most recently worked as a volunteer assistant under Blake Anderson at Arkansas State in 2020.

Ingram began his coaching career as a defensive coordinator at Melrose (Tennessee) High in 2001 before moving into the role of head coach from 2002-04.
