A punter, a placekicker and a pair of receivers are among the four former UCF players to be among the more than 100 candidates named to the 2019 College Football Hall of Fame ballot released Monday.
Bernard Ford (receiver), Ed O’Brien (placekicker), Charlie Pierce (punter) and David Rhoades (receiver) were among the 100 players and 32 coaches from the divisional ranks to be named to the ticket.
Voters consist of the 12,000 NFF members and current Hall of Famers whose votes will be tabulated and submitted to the NFF’s Honors Courts, which will deliberate and select the class.
