After decommitting from a six-month pledge to the UCF football program, Marvin Washington could be back in Orlando playing quarterback against the Knights in the future.
Washington, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound quarterback out of Dr. Phillips High, signed with American Athletic Conferene foe UConn on Wednesday, exactly two weeks after backing off his pledge to play for the hometown Knights.
It comes as a big relief for Washington, who opened up his recruitment just 14 days before National Signing Day because of what had become a logjam of quarterbacks in the Knights 2017 recruiting class.
