Orange City University High’s Lorenzo Lingard talks after winning the 100-yard dash during the Deltona Invitational track meet at Deltona High School on Friday, March 10, 2017.
Prized Orange City University football prospect Lorenzo Lingard rarely shows off his pure 100-meter dash speed in the spring track season.
The nation’s No. 2 Class of 2018 running back according to 247Sports, is a hurdles specialist, having won the Class 4A state championship in the 110-meter high hurdles as a sophomore last year. But on Friday the University of Miami football commit opted to mix things up and run the 100 and 200 instead of the hurdles.
