UCF's offseason leading up to a revamped "fast and fun" football program is moving at warp speed for new head coach Scott Frost, who was formally introduced in Orlando Dec. 1.
So fast, in fact, that sometimes the most typical question Frost asks his staff members during the day is, "What was that kid's name again?"
"There's been literally 100 questions I've had to ask Sean Beckton and Travis Fisher and Megan [Taylor] and other people here about the way things worked here or people at UCF," Frost said Thursday. "I think anytime you come in here trying to build something new, it's always important to have some experience with the university and a bridge to the past.
