The UCF men's basketball team extended its win streak to four games as the Knights defeated the Maryland-Eastern Shore Hawks 76-58 at CFE Arena Saturday night in front of an announced crowd of 3579.
"It was a really good win for us … Maryland-Eastern Shore was a team that was gonna compete for 40 minutes," coach Johnny Dawkins said.
"I'm really proud of our guys against a team I thought was very scrappy. They played unorthodox and I thought our guys responded well."
Redshirt senior guard Matt Williams led the way for the Knights, finishing with six 3-pointers, 10 rebounds and 23 points, one point shy of his career high.
