Birmingham, Ala. (WIAT)-The UAB men’s basketball team hopes to strike gold Thursday night when they host Rice for their annual Gold Rush game at Bartow Arena.

UAB (15-3, 5-0) is on a hot streak right now with 12 straight wins, currently the second-longest in the nation. Only SMU holds a longer win streak with 18.
