RUSTON, La. -- Erik McCree scored a career-high 33 points and Louisiana Tech came back from a seven-point halftime deficit to beat UAB 85-76 on Saturday.
McCree hit 11 of his 20 attempts from the field. Alex Hamilton added 20 points and eight assists for Louisiana Tech (19-6, 8-4 Conference USA), which has won six of seven.
Nick Norton finished with 20 points to lead UAB (21-5, 11-2), whose loss snaps a four game win streak. Chris Cokley had 16 points and eight rebounds for the Blazers.
UAB led 36-29 at the half and 45-37 with 15:26 left to play.
