Birmingham, AL (WIAT) – The UAB men’s basketball team will begin their Conference USA championship defense on Thursday at noon at Legacy Arena.
“We have put a lot of emphasis on this tournament,” said UAB head basketball coach Jerod Haase. “Even before the season started we talked about our goals, plans for this year, and everything really hinged on getting ourselves to play our best and prepared for this tournament so I think the guys are excited it’s finally here.”
