Bill Self has been a machine in league play for the past dozen years. The Jayhawks won their 12th consecutive Big 12 title on Saturday, and Self is now 177-39 in conference games since he arrived in Lawrence.
That's insane.
Sure, there are some who will take their shots. Self has only won one national title during his time at Kansas and just a pair of Final Four appearances. It's not easy to be the last man standing. Just ask John Calipari, who has just one national championship on his résumé. Roy Williams wasn't able to hang a banner in his time in Kansas.
