What happened today?
The Conference USA Tournament began yesterday at Legacy Arena as UAB looks to become back to back champions and earn a spot in the NCAA Tournament. First, there are a few teams that they have to get through in order to reclaim their title. The tournament started with a blowout, as the 12th seed Florida Atlantic Owls crushed the 13th seed Texas San-Antonio Roadrunners by a score of 82 to 58. Junior guard Marquan Botley came off of the bench to score 24 points, as the Owls swarmed on the defensive end, limiting UTSA to a mere 34 percent shooting overall.
