The UAB Men’s Basketball team met the Florida International University Panthers seeking revenge for the nine-point loss handed to them on Jan. 21. However, the Blazers would fall once again against the Panthers on Senior Night with seniors Hakeem Baxter, Denzell Watts, Dirk Williams, Tosin Mehinti and Tyler Madison on the starting lineup.
Before the game began, junior forward William Lee was recognized for reaching 1,000 career points on March 2 during UAB’s game against the Florida Atlantic University Owls. He is the 22nd UAB Men’s Basketball player in program history to do so.
