Long connected on 22-of-23 field goals for a nation-leading 95.7 percentage last season. Long joined the Golden Hurricane team as a walk-on in the spring of 2019, having never before kicked a field goal. Since then, Long has played in 34 career games and was awarded a scholarship at preseason camp a year ago.
