Zach Smith Named to Weekly Lists for Manning and Davey O’Brien Awards

NEW ORLEANS, La. –– The University of Tulsa quarterback Zach Smith has been named to The Manning Award "Stars of the Week" and The Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award's Great 8 List for week five, it was announced today.

Smith led Tulsa to a 34-26 win over No. 11-ranked UCF on Saturday.

The Manning Award, sponsored by the Allstate Sugar Bowl has named eight quarterbacks as its "Stars of the Week."

College football fans can now go to the Allstate Sugar Bowl Facebook page to vote for what they think was the best performance from this past weekend.
