Erika Wakefield scored a career-best 21 points, but the Tulsa women's basketball team dropped an 82-73 decision to Saint Louis on Tuesday night at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Mo. TU fell to 0-2 on the season, while SLU moved to 2-0 overall.
"We just lost focus defensively," Head Coach Matilda Mossman said. "Obviously we didn't defend their post players well. Hats off to Saint Louis - they were patient, they played together, played hard and hit big shots. We found a way to take away their inside game, but then they go outside and hit three's.
