TULSA, Okla. -- DaQuan Jeffries drilled four from deep to score 24 points as Tulsa took control in the second half to beat Texas-Arlington 72-58 on Tuesday night.
Jeffries was 10 of 11 from the floor for Tulsa (5-2) which returned to winning form after losing two straight. The Golden Hurricane started the season 4-0.
Elijah Joiner added 11 points with four steals and Lawson Korita and Martins Igbanu chipped in 10 apiece. Korita also grabbed five rebounds, had two assists and two steals.
The teams were tied 31-31 at the break.
