The Golden Hurricane Varsity 8+ earned a top finish, while the Novice 4+ and Varsity 4x both recorded second-place marks in the Tulsa Fall Invitational on Saturday at the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest on the Verdigris River in Catoosa, Okla.
"I'm pleased with the result in the Eight, as well as the fact that it was good to see the team finish this regatta well today in a continuation from yesterday," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "We come off the water next week and try to build off what we've done this fall. The team's attitude if fantastic and they are making a real step toward the championship season, but we have to keep the momentum moving forward toward the spring.
