The Hula Bowl was established in 1946 as the Hula Bowl All-Star Football Classic game. The first game was played on Jan. 5, 1947. In the 2020 NFL Draft 40 players who played in the Hula Bowl were either drafted or signed as free agents. The pair of seniors helped lead Tulsa to an overall 6-3 record, 6-1 in the American Athletic Conference and appearances in the 2020 AAC Championship Game and Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl.
HONOLULU, Hawaii –– A pair of Tulsa Golden Hurricane senior football players – quarterback Zach Smith and running back Corey Taylor II – will play in the Hula Bowl at Aloha Stadium on Sunday, Jan. 31.
