NORTHBROOK, Ill. –– University of Tulsa junior offensive lineman Willie Wright was named as one of 146 nominees for the 2017 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®, one of the most prestigious off-the-field honors in college football.
Last year, Tulsa's Dane Evans was one of the 24 student-athletes named to the 2016 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®. This year, 22 team members, 11 from the FBS and 11 from the FCS, will be selected and announced in November.
Wright (6'3", 296), from Houston, Texas, is a two-year starter at right offensive tackle for the Golden Hurricane.
