The Tulsa Varsity 8+ finished second in a field of nine boats this morning at the Tulsa Fall Invitational on the Verdigris River in Catoosa, Okla. This concludes the fall season as TU will return to action in March.
"I thought we rowed really well today and had a good weekend," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "KU wanted it a little more today as they were able to take up their rating a little at the end to earn the top mark, but we had a solid race. We of course would have liked to have won, but it was close.
