Tulsa, Okla. – The University of Tulsa women's tennis team opened the American Athletic Conference portion of their schedule defeating UCF, 6-1, Sunday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. The No. 34-ranked Golden Hurricane dominated doubles play winning all three matches before going on to win five of the six singles matches played.
The Hurricane extends its win streak to five matches improving to an overall 10-1 record, while UCF falls to 3-3 overall.
Tulsa's three registered doubles wins started with Ksenia Laskutova and Renata Kuricova (No. 1) defeating Sofia Baptista and Natalia Serrano in a 6-1 decision to take a 1-0 doubles match lead.
