Tulsa, Okla. – The University of Tulsa men's tennis team defeated No. 30 Baylor in a 4-3 decision Thursday afternoon at the Hurd Tennis Center. The No. 27 Golden Hurricane improved to 9-8 overall, while Baylor falls to 11-8 overall.
In doubles play, Dylan McCloskey and Dominic Bechard (No. 2) of Tulsa defeated Tommy Podvinski and Maxime Tchoutakian, 6-4, to take a 1-0 double point lead. Julian Lez and Will Little (No. 1) of Baylor defeated Matthew Kirby and Okkie Kellerman in a 7-6 decision tying the doubles score at 1-1.
