The 5'11" senior receiver from Little Rock, Arkansas, had a career-high 159 yards on nine receptions in the win over Temple, including an eight-yard touchdown that gave Tulsa a 17-0 lead in the second quarter. Johnson also had receptions of 25 yards on a 3rd-and 7, a 26-yard reception and a 42-yarder that led to Tulsa's 34-3 lead. Johnson's 159-yard game gives him 868 yards and four TDs on the year to lead the Hurricane receivers.
