IRVING, Texas. –– The University of Tulsa forward Jeriah Horne was named to the American Athletic Conference's Honor Roll for his performances against Northwestern State and Air Force in the season's opening week.
Horne, a 6'7" graduate student from Overland Park, Kan., averaged 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in Tulsa's two contests. He tied his career high with 28 points in the season opener against Northwestern State, knocking down eight shots, four from three-point range. In Saturday's matchup with Air Force, Horne scored 15 and pulled down nine rebounds.
