TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa volleyball team saw its comeback fall short on Senior Day against SMU, as the Mustangs defeated the Golden Hurricane in four sets [25-20, 25-16, 23-25, 25-22] at Donald W. Reynolds Center. The Golden Hurricane (15-12, 8-6 The American) are now 19-29 all-time against the Mustangs (17-7, 10-4).
The matched also served as the final home contest for senior's Taylor Horsfall, Mariah Pardo, and Maddie Rhoder.
Four consecutive attacking errors by SMU gave Tulsa a seven-point lead at 14-7 in the fourth set. It would be the largest lead of the game for the Golden Hurricane.
