The Tulsa women's basketball team's comeback bid against Wichita State fell short in overtime, 85-77, on Tuesday night at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The Golden Hurricane fell to 5-13 on the season and 4-13 in American Athletic Conference play, while the Shockers moved to 5-11 overall and 2-9 in the league.
"Wichita State didn't miss many shots all night," Head Coach Matilda Mossman said. "They scored at every position and in every way. We stopped one thing and then they'd do something else. In overtime they didn't miss a shot. We just couldn't stop them.
