WICHITA, Kan. – Staring down a 0-2 deficit on the road against Wichita State, the Tulsa volleyball team's comeback attempt came up just short, dropping Wednesday night's match in five sets, 25-14, 25-14, 22-25, 23-25, 16-14. Tulsa drops to 12-12, 7-8 in American Athletic Conference play while Wichita State improves to 16-8, 10-5 in AAC play.
Tulsa got off to a rocky start, only scoring 28 points total in the first two sets. But with its back against the wall, the Golden Hurricane jumped out to a 10-5 third set lead and would take the set by three points.
