TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa junior linebacker Zaven Collins was named to the American Athletic Conference's weekly honor roll for his performance on Saturday against the nation's 11th-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The 6'4" Collins anchored a Tulsa defense that held one of the nation's most potent returning offenses to 277 total yards and snapped the nation's returning rushing leader Chuba Hubbard's 100-yard game streak at 11 .
Collins, from Hominy, Oka., totaled 6 tackles, all solos, and 4 of those were tackles for loss totaling 24 yards, including 3 sacks for -16 yards.
