Tulsa's Collegiate 8+ earned a gold medal, while the Collegiate 4+ captured a silver medal on Sunday at the Jayhawk Jamboree at Burcham Park on the Kansas River in Lawrence, Kan.
"I was really happy with our racing," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "We've been working on our technical aspects and they've been really taking hold in terms of our power. But it just the beginning as it is all about training and making sure our training is on target during the fall season. The way we finished today is a good sign, but we have a ton of work to do.
