TULSA, Okla. – The American Athletic Conference announced today that The University of Tulsa's Adam Roderique was named the league's Male Scholar Athlete of the Year award-winner for the sport of cross-country.
Roderique has maintained a 3.906 grade point average as a double major in mechanical engineering and finance at Tulsa. He earned American Athletic Conference all-academic honors in each of his first three seasons and has received Dean's List mention for nine semesters.
Each sport winner for the Scholar Athlete of the Year award receives a $2,000 scholarship which may be applied to graduate or professional studies.
