TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa women's tennis squad (6-3) got back in the win column, defeating Central Arkansas (2-2), 6-1, on Saturday afternoon on the indoor courts of the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
The Bears jumped out to an early lead in doubles, as QiLi Ma and Rada Manataweewat handled Tulsa freshmen Megan Hopton and Marina Davtyan, 6-1. With an ace to clinch the match, TU's Martha Matoula and Shura Poppe evened the score with a 6-4 victory in the No. 2 spot.
