STILLWATER, Okla. – The University of Tulsa women's tennis team lost to in-state rival No. 17 Oklahoma State in a 4-2 decision at the Greenwood Tennis Center on Tuesday night. The No. 21 Golden Hurricane falls to 16-3 overall, while Oklahoma State improves to 14-4 overall.
In doubles play, Oklahoma State's No. 45 doubles team Katarina Adamovic and Valdica Babic (No. 3) defeated Saana Saarteinen and Mahitha Dadireddy, 6-2, to take a 1-0 doubles point advantage. OSU clinched the doubles point as No. 38 Viktoriya Lushkova and Carla Tur Mari (No. 2) defeated Rongrong Leenabanchong and Martha Matoula, 6-3, to take a 1-0 match advantage going into singles play.
