LAWRENCE, Kan. – The University of Tulsa women's tennis squad (7-5) dropped its match to the No. 12 Kansas Jayhawks (5-1), 6-1, on Saturday at the Jayhawk Tennis Center.
The doubles point played out to be a back-and-forth battle, as the Jayhawks managed to secure the 1-0 advantage heading into singles play. The freshmen Tulsa duo of Megan Hopton and Marina Davtyan struck first, winning 6-2 in the No. 3 spot.
